The dream that found me twice

I've always loved to travel. There was a time when these journeys only happened in my childhood imagination, in stories I read about faraway places, and later, years later, they began to happen for real, within a traditional job, though set in a far less conventional way. Instead of a classic nine to five, my younger years meant traveling around the world, aboard one of the most exclusive cruise ships in the world.

My childhood dreams were, in a sense, coming true, yet something was missing. What was missing was time, that necessary space to truly enjoy the places I was reaching, to walk through them slowly, to discover them the way I used to imagine them as a child, rather than simply rushing through them between work shifts.

And so another dream was born, perhaps a more mature one than the first: the dream of a life in which time is on my side, and in which I can truly enjoy the places I reach. This second dream came true a few years later, when I began my activity in Network Marketing.

This profession has given me so much, things I've already written about and will keep writing about here, on the blog, because each of them deserves to be told properly. Beyond a team, a community, and above all the results of our work, this activity gave me the chance to travel a great deal, both at team events and on reward trips, across Europe and the United States.

A key moment for me was returning to places I had reached years earlier, back in my cruise ship days, and meeting, in a way, my former self, the Alexandra who worked too much and who often had neither the time nor the energy to enjoy the wonders she was surrounded by.

Well, Nice is exactly one such example. I returned there on a reward trip, earned for extraordinary results, and not only did I finally have time, but the accommodations and the whole experience, arranged by the company, were on an entirely different level. In a way, I built a bridge across time, and I congratulated the Alexandra of a few years back for her decisions and for the perseverance that carried her forward.
